Aflac is horrible - Aflac Critical Care

I purchased the Aflac Critical Care policy and it is a complete joke and very misleading. It plainly states that carcinoma in situ is covered but according to them it is not. I had to have a partial mastectomy due to lobular carcinoma in situ and Aflac has denied my claim. It clearly states in their brochure that carcinoma in situ pays 25% however once I filed my claim with the pathologist report and the paperwork signed off by my surgeon they have denied the claim. They keep telling me that it was not invasive and I have explained to them had it been invasive it would have been filed as cancer. This company is very misleading and a complete disgust with how they handle their claims. Do not purchase any policies from Aflac. They will find reasons not to fulfill your claim and misrepresent their policies. I will be getting legal counsel for this because I am tired of companies marketing these benefits and finding ways to not pay. What they will cover should be printed in easy terms and not where you can read in one place but have to go to another to see just what "their" definition is.

I totally agree with this statement. Why does our legal system allow companies that sell a service not define exactly what they cover in plain English. They hide all the exceptions in fine print in small tiny print that the human eye cannot read.
